A genuine matching numbers May, 1970 GT/V6, mmm.
Different colour paint, different colour interior trim, deleted hood pins replaced with later version push and twist type, sports wheels not standard, should be Contessa's and no photo's of the ID Plate, the engine number nor the chassis number to verify its matching number status. Not a genuine matching numbers vehicle by my standards and knowledge!
Cheers, Terry

It does look like a nice car and of course there is lots to think about and everything has its price. Those super roos made me look twice heh heh. Easy fix.

I think his ad is fair.  To me genuine means genuine V6, as opposed to converted 1600 and he's not claiming that it's original.  He's made it obvious that paint and trim have been changed.  People bidding would surely ask for photos of  the numbers and plate before they bid so that's not an issue.

Sure it's not original but it looks to be a genuine V6 and the mods are period correct.

The original unmolested one on carsales with flared guards, well that's a different story.

Interesting that its Nov 72 but has oval port timing cover and inlet manifold.  Must have only just missed out on the upgrade.  Both nice cars so will be interesting to see what they get, especially auto vs manual price.  I would really like to have an auto one day.
