Yes I had the same issue, the rubber is too big for the cavity.  I had to get a guy in who cut the inside to make it fit, and now I cannot get the lock strip in, I dd however find some Corolla strip which is 12mm not 15 and did go in.  The rubbers were advertised at half price so I bought a few as I have 4 capris to install screens into, there was no mention of them being a dud batch

I've had quite a lot of luck with gumtree wanted ads, I even picked up a fabled original Mk1 Cortina radio but events of late have been a timely reminder to be careful.
Lately every time I post an ad I am contacted by a guy asking if I will accept postage. First time I said ok and asked for some pics which he sent. Only problem was they were my pics from another wanted ad I'd posted and that he'd taken from google images. I pointed this out only to receive an abusive email about my apparent drug use that had led to my mistrust, lol!
No offence taken just forwarded his email address to every free online news letter I could find. The Nickleback fan club was my fave.
Kept the number in my phone and he keeps trying every time I post an ad. Did a google search on the number and there are pages of complaints about this guy pulling the same stunt.
So if you're contacted by someone asking if you'll do postage and the mobile number ends in 4518 give it a miss...

How about a Gumtree Capri needing resto for a cool sum of $70k. I can even pay with Bitcoin except I don’t have any. Seriously it’s advertised as the last 71 Capri sold. Like was that a vintage year or am I missing something? If so I have 2 needing resto and you buy both for 110k and I’ll take Bitcoin or 10c pieces however you wanna pay.

Last restored 20yr ago? Not original door skins. In a place that gets lots of frosts. You get the original panels? Bumpers and glass though. That adds a dollar or two. Only benefit would be original paperwork except for that dosh you’d need original paint with maybe 12k miles on it.
I’d like to think some are worth this much but not this one sadly.

Its a "bargain" if it includes the Dewalt drill or grinder on the passengers floor :)
 
Also does say in ad "Asking price well above others advertised."!!!!!
 
Also not sure why you would advertise saying it includes 
"Car will come with a complete bare metal respray, professionally done by Bradbury Smash and Restorations in Hume ACT." which does have a * in front of the statement, does this mean undisclosed conditions???
 
OK in all fairness best of luck with the sale, however I wouldn't purchase it as it does appear to need a little more work than a paint job.
 
 
 
 

Well it went up $10k from yesterday with the bare metal respray. If anyone was going to buy the car for normal money you would be getting the work done yourself by professionals who know what they are doing. Must be drinking something I have not tried yet but it’s a nice try. Any takers on here? It is the last 71 built apparently which adds around 70k to the price tag. Spud that means the highest vin tag one I sold you should have had 3 zeros added to it.
