V nice.  Black marks in engine bay ring a bell.  I wonder if that's the same one  that was on ebay a while ago out of SA with gold stripes and a bonnet pin missing.  It always amazes me how the engine to bellhouse cover plates always go missing.

Good project.  Shame about the flared guards but not too hard to undo.  Otherwise looks salvageable.

Look good, didn't even see them come up.

Neither did I for a few days. But went out and was surprised at all the original pieces in the blue one. Only shame was has some really bad rust but the one that's been stripped I'm not sure what I'm going to do. It was a package deal so had to buy both but not sure if I'll keep it everything's there for it but I have enough restos
