Not the first time, I got bailed up by a farmer with a rifle a few years back. I'd stopped on the side of the road and was squinting across the paddock at an old car, he held me there until the local copper came. I was told to follow him back to the station. A little bit up the road we stopped and the sargent told me he was just bluffing to get me away, old mate farmer was apparently the village idiot and probably would have shot me. That was a Cortina too, seems to be a pattern forming here

It must be the week for steering wheels... picked up a nice original for the Cortina on Saturday, $80.
I saw the one that came with your car on Gumtree and figured you were refurbishing the cracked original. Glad to hear you got a good'un instead.
This ones much better. Did a test fit and it's an enormous bus wheel, will be a hoot to drive with. Glad to get rid of that horrible 'bling' wheel it came with.
