Hey guys

I'm researching options for a special V8 Escort track car and need some advice on which is the best way to widen the track in the front suspension to match the custom built 9" going in the back

Reason i need this is i want to run some HUGE rubber under there if i can, i have a set of 265/35/18 rims and tyres here that i'd like to fit. I am going to buy set of Forest flares for the car which will easily accommodate this size tyre combination on the back with custom diff but i'm at a loss on how to get them to fit up the front

Surely there has to be a cheaper way than the really expensive Grp4 stuff

Here's pic of wheels i'm trying to get under there, as mentioned we are in the planning stages at moment

How much wider do you want the track? Adj tca and steering rack extenders will get you so far but without moving the strut tops you will get increasing more camber. Bolt on wheel spacers?

Hey Shaun

After doing some quick measurements i believe i will need around 35mm each side on the front to fit those wheels, so if bolting standard size wheels on would increase the track 70mm and give me 10mm clearance from tyre to strut

How much wider do the Adj TCA give you?

Used adjustable control arm plus wheel spacers.

Alloy hubs will give you an extra 10mm too
