I'm trying to replace my escort MK2 door handles, but had problems removing them
]any thoughts?
should i remove the rods from the handle and lock barrels, or the other ends

I found it easier to remove the rods from the latch section in the door rather than the handles. make sure you spray a bit of lube before easing off the clips. The plastic gets brittle and can break easily. That said the clips they use are common to a lot of cars so should be able to source from wreckers if any break. Len
