Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me what coil springs people have used in front mk1 capri struts which are in a mk1 escort 1600? I am trying to get it low & not crazy stiff.

King springs have their "low" springs: #KFFL-12
Seems to be a decent ride height and spring rate many have used.

Thanks for the info. Are they the right width for the capri holders?
Just want to make sure as the standard escort KFFL-11 aren't as wide.

2L  and Capri have the same spring width. Sometimes the king springs/ lovells arent worth the effort. I had the height of my car go up after installing lovells as the standard springs  had sagged over the years. In the end I reset the standard coils by 50mm which worked pretty well. A neat trick is to carefully cut the bottom spring seat off the strut leg and weld a threaded collar to the base of it. Then weld a threaded tube to the strut leg and spin on the bottom seat & lock ring.
