That's a neat piping job jp ! I did something similar back in the '90s on my mk2 and still going strong tho mine had the T piece meet the strut with a short pipe to the flex line.

the pipes could be differently configured, they were done like that to allow me to get to the bolts holding the calipers on. I did later make a bracket to hold the 'T' piece on but don't have photos.
With DS3000 pads they stopped the race car very very well hot but suffered a bit when cold but that's the pads not the brakes. I used a 0.62 inch  mastercylinder for fronts only and braided flex.

I blocked 1 inlet and drilled behind the pistons to connect the 2 chambers.  I think it needs a pedal box and a smaller m/c bore to up the pressure/feel to get the most out of it
