Hey Number 7, another forum newbie like me. Good luck finding a suitable project to keep you busy. Seems to be slim pickings out there so hopefully you find yourself a winner. You have your mind set on a particular model, will keep an eye out. Are you a sunny coast local? Was a couple of nice escorts down at the pacific ford car show today.

yes I am a long time coast local, didn't think about the ford show, drive past there every day but since i'm only into English fords it didn't even think there would be anything but falcon/mustangs there, will go next time plus theres 2 local car shows, Nambour and witta this weekend.
check out sunshine coast mod plates re your engine swap if you haven't already, I got advice off him about some seat swaps about 6 months ago, was very helpful.

Thanks for the heads up. Can't make it this week end but chatting with a few mechanical engineers to suss out exactly what hoops I will need to jump through to go the zetec/duratec option. So far looking promising.
