Thanks Ez :)

I've put the dummy motor back in to start the plumbing and planning. I initially bought silicone hoses on ebay to save a few dollars. This was a mistake. Cheap, thin walled nasty rubbish. New Aeroflow hoses will be here tomorrow, in Blue! I also sold my T28bb turbo & manifold to make way for a brand new GT2860RS and 38mm external wastegate which will breath a lot better at higher RPM's

Wasn't so sure at first but the blue has grown on me :D
I may go a straight silicone reducer from the inlet manifold and run a stainless pipe down to the intercooler but it would only be for aesthetics. The T-bolt clamps in these photos have all been exchanged for worm type clamps, the ones that have a full tang on them to protect the hoses from damage. I'm now a familiar face down at the local truck spares shop ha. And I've done away with the engine driven fan and have fitted the twin SPAL VA07 fans that came in the Radtec kit.

Thanks very much Len. The plan is to keep it as simple & tidy as possible. The Radtec kit has helped immensely with this. I'm also waiting on a vacuum manifold which will mount low on the side of inlet manifold. Fed by a 3/8 hose, all the vacuum lines will run back there.

Is this to supply vacuum for brakes etc, like a storage tank? Len

The Sierra manifold only has provision for 2x vacuum barbs. One I have dedicated to the brake booster, the other will feed the vacuum manifold which will then split off to wastegate, bov, fuel reg, MAP sensor etc

The vacuum manifold mounted to the sierra inlet. Handy bolt holes right there.

Wow over two years since my last update. I have been really busy having lots of fun in this car πŸ˜„ It was first tuned with a GT2860RS (disco potato), E85 and 20psi which gave 301whp and 12.4 @113mph. A GTX2860R Gen2 supercore was fitted along with a haltech external 3bar MAP sensor, a second Bosch 044 pump and custom intercooler pipes to make 355whp 26psi. Shortly after, the worn W58 gave up at a Lakeside cruise event πŸ˜‚ It was rebuilt and has been great since then. Three weeks ago I ran an 11.9 @ 119mph. Super happy with this car now. I should probably give it a coat of paint one day lol. Cheers
