Um I feel stupid its a DURATEC isn't it so ignore the question,I'm going to go sit in the corner for a while. I'm looking a buying an 08 2.0 focus that's got 100k on the clock and I'm curious as to when the factory recommend that the timing belt is to be replaced?  I'm guessing it would cost several hundred bucks to get it done? How far has anybody pushed it before they've bit the bullet and replaced one?

My fiesta has a 1.6 duratec in it. The service booklet says 150,000kl or ten years for the timing belt.
