Some new goodies have arrived in the post this week. My smiths temp gauge died after the first stage at the last rally sprint which left me pretty nervous for the rest of the day. Bought a new stack gauge from Demon tweaks whose service was excellent. Also decided to bite the bullet and get a new tacho as well.

Whats the tacho for, to set the idle speed. Or are you intending to do some black top driving where you get plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and look at guages...lol

lol. Yeah, that's why I haven't bothered to date.
The old one jumps around like a kid on caffeine though. Will be interesting to see what I've actually been reving it too.

what diff ratio are you running

Hi Mario. Diff is a BW78(?) with a 5.1 lsd. Box is close ratio straight cut type 9. She tops out at just under 100mph.

Our club hosted the 4th round of the NSW Rally Sprint series yesterday.
I threw away my 10 year old tyres, threw in a highly experienced navigator and a little local knowledge, and surprised everyone (not least myself) by winning out right by 55 seconds from Nathan Quinn.
The new set of Dunlops were a revaluation, she could really put her new found power down and I couldn't believe how hard I could tip her in.
Awesome fun!
