Hey mark,
a red 4 door was seen over your way last weekend, exact same colour... [88]

You want plastpak primer for the nosecome

Yeah mate, no doubt making a name for himself, ready for me to take the fall again.

I didn't use plastipak primer, I prepared the surface with 'skuff it' cleaner with fine steel wool.
I was told i only have to use the flexing agent when it's not painted. Time will tell if i have done the right thing or not.

I would of used it if i didn't have to pay for it. It is expensive stuff.

Yeah, the shade sail is cutting out the light.
I painted the door 1/4 window stays in the sun, the Black colour cooked onto the metal, drying the paint too fast.
Windows and a little polish this week.

why did you leave the door handles in??, that is a rough way of painting a car would have been only like 5 min to simply unbolt them.
would make a better paint job and easier to polish.!etc

you have overspray over everything

points for effort and trying though.

The door handles are unbolted away from the body.
Thanks for pointing out the little masking blowout in the grill.

Thanks Lachlan, I will be down again with the old man and his car for sure. He gets cheap boat rides.
I have always wanted to take my Escort down for a touring holiday.

Some progress for the trainspotters.

The boot is polished if you can tell.
