Update.
New Roof is on. Good as Gold.

Passenger floor now has a little more room.

The rust inside the guard, everyone with a MK2 RS will be doing this one day.

Thanks for the encouragement guy's, It's been a tough couple weeks.

Mark,
Just read through the thread. Been a while since I've been on. Sorry to hear about the beast, but glad your o.k. and the RS is on the road to recovery. All the best with it.

Thanks guy's.
The rear 1/4's are now taking shape, without the rust fiberglass and bog.
Don't ask how many layers of paint we counted[:I]
When i left the work shop today the left rear was taking shape,
Each pillar will be welded from inside as well apparently.

It's not all bad but.

I'm in the latest Dragster magazine, something following my day's racing at the Nostalgia drags.

I hope to pedal a Junkyard dog before the end of the year.

Touchwood[^]fingers crossed.

Well, I have some progress to share.

After going over the body, both the rear wheel arches where replaced with Two door arches, I needed the extra room at the rear of the arches.
Saves me melting tyre rubber to the outer guard.

The only door that survived was the rear passenger side one.
The drivers door was suffering from 'oil can' around the handle. caused from closing the drivers door with my butt too many times.

The nose cone was used to get the passenger guard on in the right place, and the bonnet was repairable.

Only need the front guard finishing and it will be ready to start painting.
