These are the 4 sets of extractors in the shed. Does anyone have an opinion on which look the best to chuck on a 1600 xflow [?]
Its probably asking to pick the best turd from a pile of turds, but I only want to clean one set up and use them

1. 4-2-1 set (the silver ones)

2. no idea.

3. These have an 'approved by Genie' tag on them

4. Hurricane set.

4-2-1 will likely give better mid-range performance as opposed to 4-1 which will likely give better top-end and outright power all else being equal. So it depends on what you want to use the engine for. Other things to consider would be diameter of primary pipes and outlet. If there is a set that has actually been made with tuned length in mind then they will probably out perform all of the others regardless of configuration.

+1 for the 4-2-1, for road/rally or 4-1 for track. Exhaust manifold gaskets are cheap, try both and see what suits the motor the best or which you like the feel of more.

they look like they all have different lengths of tube and different bends. This will affect their performance - so like what was said before, the one that has the correct tuned length for your motor will be the best hands down.

looks like some trial and error is on the cards!
