Finally squirted some high build to front of car ..
Rear lap joint is giving me a bit of grief ..
mechanicals are on the way. Engine painted just ready to reassemble.

Update.. so close now finally..

Bitumen coated inside of the bonnett.



car is 99% ready just a few more blade putty b4 I go berserk with the high build..
I have budgeted for 3 full coats of high build blocking back between coats then 2 coats final primer and then she can go to paint shop.

Car 100% sprayed 2pack high fill -putty.. nasty stuff..






In process of rubbing back and blade puttying any imperfections..

All that hard prep work will soon pay off.

Update.. bought final 4litre primer+hardener ready to spray final 2 coats on sat all going well. All the blade putty finished and very happy.
Ive had my colour for 2 months now sitting on my bench giving me some motivation  just waiting for weather to warm up a bit more and then let the games begin.

The bodywork is the major part of restoring and seems like it will never end but take heart, when its finaly painted its a major turning point particularly mentaly. Armed with a newfound confidence the reasssembly can take place, and in the excitement make sure not to rush this part.
