Hi what are people using for replacement rubbers for tramp bars.
The super pro aren’t an offset hole which they need to be. Do people just get the Burton’s ones which is the way to go.

Good topic Matt !  Dont know answer to your question.... Nor would I ever fit other than Rubber unless it was a track car or a cross country racer like in "Baja" !
BTW, do you know who still has standard factory bushes available please as I need to get rid of the Nolathane ones which are cracking and disintegrating ? (Im surprised theyre not noisy which is another one of their drawbacks)
cheers
Bernie

My mechanic replaced mine, charged $110 for parts and sourced locally.  I can ask him where he got them.

Ah my tramp bars are off for that reason. The polyurethane ones sold locally dont have the hole offset which means they will bind up when car launches. The rubber ones fall apart. The UK ones are poly and offset which is the go.The rest of my car is majority poly for longevity.

From my experiences, poly is best for off road and race track where noises and discomfort are not an issue.
Factory rubber bushes FAR outlive poly if that car is driven within the law on public roads.

I've yet to see ANY car of mass production and any price bracket factory born with poly

Noise and discomfort are the least of my worries ..Harden up princess they’re 40+ yr old cars if want nice and quiet in you’re in the wrong car. My car lately has being doing equal amount of time at My local track lakeside raceway as it has on the road and that’s bugger all at best ,I’ll go poly .

Well hardened up Princess!  .... I choose to travel noiseless and comfortable on public roads as a Prince driving my GT as Ford deemed it to be as a GT with original parts; because I can...............and I am in the right car thanks
............and I know the rubber originals will outlast and outperform ANY poly parts when used on public roads, which you must have missed.
I already said poly is ok for track and off-road, which you also must have missed.
You need to take it easy and not "princess" people that have a different opinion to yours.
