Just got a call from Ford,
Said
Paint- R code- is copper bronze

I thought R was diamond white.

Options
47- delete bonnet pins
49 delete stripes
50 delete black hood
51 sports steering wheel
56 driving lights
73 deluxe push button radio

Paint code 'R' is Diamond White, as used on 1969 and 1970 models.
 
Paint code 'R' is Copper Bronze, as used on 1972 models ONLY!
 
This is according to the Ford Australia Capri Chassis and Body Parts Catalogue.

Used to be much harder to get info. Even needed stat decs for two of my cars. Diamond white is the perfect Capri for me. Even though I hate most white cars.

Well it'll be going back to diamond white, I haven't been able to find many pics of diamond white Capris.
