As a quick-fix I'm wanting to know if you can just pull the hose from the heater bubble and pour in some fish oil to prevent any further corrosion? Will it smell inside the cabin?

Not a good idea.

Even the non scented fish oil smells, and the chances are if it has rust, it has holes, which means you will be pouring fish oil straight into your footwell carpets. [8~2]

Dont think it's going to be too nice when you start up the heater fan either.....

another quick fix....take out heater from below check for anyholes if any block up using fibreglass bog etc before this pour in some sort of rust killer....but its best to take it of to fix if you cant you can try patching up holes from underneath using metal and welding!
