Looks like thats how they are ment to go on. I would suspect that my car is f**ked and the front has been pushed in at some point and thats why i cant get the flare sitting right.

I'll put pics up later to show you'll what i mean.

Oh and do you guys know anyone that, if i pay em enough money lol, would fit the flares for me?

Hey Phil. I purchased the back spioler thats sitting in front of my car in the first pic. And when i ordered the flares i told them i had the rubber spoiler and they said thats what the flares are made to mate with. As the fiberglass one is a repo of it I shouldn't have problems lol.

Thanks for the link whooligan. When his just trial fitting the flares (unpainted) is exactly how i want my car to look. I will email him and see if he is willing to send me some more pic/info.

Sterling no Panel shop around Albury/Wodonga wants anything to do with my escort. Oh i remember there was one but he had hes head up his ass and i refuse to deal with him.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll see what i can do tomorrow. I think a lil hit with a BIG hammer might be called for =P

I'm using the same spoiler (std plastic one) with Alfa flares and had to cut the fronts off to suit. It's on a race car so not the prettiest of finishes.

OK, worked out how to add pics
Chin spoiler will trimmed back to the black line.

Thanks for all the help guys. I will just cut the front flares when i get to it. The back ones lined up better than the fronts so i started there.

Started hacking into my car and the angle grinder died. So I have this 1/2 hacked off guard lol.

The good news is it doesn't look like the door will get in the way because its just as low as the hidden flange on the flare, if that makes sense. I will put a few pics up tomorrow after i get a new angle grander.

Should lie to ya and say that it doesn't work. I'm only doing this so my car is individual =P. Jokes. What only a couple in the country. Thats alright.

Im lovin' it. =) A lil bit has been cut off the door btw =|
I still have to cut the inner arch out as much as possible. Then i'll get some metal from work and weld it in. A few welds here and there and i think it will be right to go.

Then i'll put in my new leafs and measure up what size wheel i'll be able to fit. Give me a week or 2 and i'll show you the finished product i hope. Less i get lazy lol.

Dont worry to much about the fit, they dont even fit 2 door Escorts properly, after you have cut and bashed and boged Get along to an auto rubber supply shop(stectrim rubber and the like) and get some large P rubber strip, used on morris minor guards between guard and body, this covers a multitude of sins.See the black line on join in photo below.
Good luck with it, a 4 door will look good with arches.
