gettin it dipped and sandblasted professionaly seems to be pricey[:u]
What you pay for is what you get, unless you know someone who does a good job for a reasonable price or learn it yourself. Getting the problems fixed (or having to bin the car) can cost more then paying for the right job in the first place.
Dipping or blasting both have +'s or -'s - blasting is probably easier to get done as there are a heap of businesses that do it. That said, this soda blasting appears to carry less risk (only based on what's in their ads) I did a heap of web searches, that usually linked back to web forums and when people who have done this staff all their life give an opinion or advice give that more credience then the person who may be selling their own product.
In terms of getting this machine for the brackets & small bits, I don't think you can go wrong - what did you drop on the 'EBay search' to find this (might be interested myself - beats spending hours sanding & stuffing around with paint stripper)
