New fuel line for a Mk1 Escort

Hi all,
I have gone and gotten myself some 5/16 piping to use as fuel line on my Mk1 to replace the old long gone fuel line.

Does anyone have any pics or suggestion and the best way to run the pipe. when rusing a 2L and standard fuel pump.

I crossed mine over were the diff hump is and then ran it down alongside the the rail.

Anywhere is fine along as it's up high and away from the exhaust as much as possible.
