Well we are getting very close, just sorting out accelerator cable purchased one from burtons, front and rear brake reservoir lines and sunroof. So let me take you around the car.

LED Gear stick knob you need some creature comforts at my age.

SMCKA Battery tray but it needs to be vented for Engineer so I cut and shut the old box into it.

Tweakit swirlpot

Don't really want to show you my wiring its a bit messy with the lift pump and sunroof relay's

And the engine bay now with it backing plate on and trumpets.

Looks really good Bill, really really good

Out of interest, what are the throttle bodies?

As the injectors go directly into the head you only need an alloy case to hold the butterfly's and trumpets, so half a throttle body maybe. This is a Eurospeed item, I believe Geoff CNC'd it in his shop. Geoff is making another fuel rail for me so I will have some more bling in the engine bay.

Just Awesome, well done Bill.

Did it pass engineer certification with the Haltech?? I thought you had to have original ECU fitted or you'd have to go through EPA tests ect. to pass..., = expensive excercise.

Only need to meet current day emissions on kit cars/clubmans. Thats why when you get on thier forums they are madly trying to reverse engineer all the factory parts to make them work in thier cars. Escort year of manufacture applies in regard to emissions regardless of what engine you put in it.

Hmm.. I always thought emissions must comply with the build date of the motor you put in, and not the vehicle. For example, your car must have factory emission control divices that were affixed to the engine, ECU and catalytic converter included. Well, here in VIC anyways.

Is this not the case in NSW Bill? Do you have to run a catalytic converter?
