I heard a rumour that this Capri has been sold and possibly come back to OZ, can anybody verify this?

It was sold. Not sure if it came back here though. I’m pretty sure not positive it is still lovingly cared for in NZ. He is doing a Perana at the moment I think. The new owner posted it on Facebook and one the Xmas cover photo.

I was very interested in buying the car and spoke at length with the owner, sadly the shipping companies dragged the chain getting back to me with costs and requirements, and in the meantime a cash buyer appeared already in NZ and snapped it up.  I was happy with this as Wayne (the builder) will get to see his car regularly

Wayne is a good guy and was really helpful when I bought a set of Rohstyles from him when i was in NZ many years ago.

Wayne is assisting me with my Perana. It’s a hard family to crack to get any info and only after a few years trying in South Africa I seem to have been accepted. Himself and others are now helping with the finite details to get what is a great car perfect as it left factory.
