had some spare time so mucked about with a veneer dash and also inserted the polished alloy pre facelift dash rings from the bloke in poland..  had to slightly bend  speedo and rev tacho rings  to fit dash better 
i think it came out ok  .. had to make the veneer in two parts main speed and also switch part,  but didnt have long enough veneer piece .. ill try and source some veneer same style and look and make i piece veneer part....  bad camera angle as some of those rings look damaged but there not  ... spewing he didnt have the 3 small ones for blinker , high beam , alt ... he makes dash rings for cars so sent him a email to make the 3 small ones as well

The small ones will be hard to polish on a buffing wheel - not much to hold on to.

The guy does them for the facelift MK2 MK3.  I have a set on my 3000E I need to bend them to get a better fit though

i had to bend mine as well , i cut with side cutters a little slit on the back of them so they dont spring back straight and stay curved with the dash ... they really bring the dash to life

i got it of ebay uk think all up was about $63 to sydney  thats his add ...im getting him to make some matching rings for the air vents and  the 3 little ones as well on the dash blinker/ alt / high beam

If you get him to make a few sets I’d buy some. Remember buying a painted one some twenty or so years ago from Small ford. Red rings looked good.

got two sets made a inner  one and a outer one  the outer one probably needs to be a 1mm or 2 mm bigger but as is will do
 

Chase up Hillman Hunter vents, the eyeball parts are chrome, and could be swapped into the capri housings.
