Hey, I'm looking to get some work done on my 1.6 xflow in adelaide, I.e some porting on head, pocket my pistons and a general check over, anywhere in adelaide is fine although I live south. Lonsdale engine works can't do it for months, and mike dale can't do anything for 4 to 5 weeks either, I want someone will no what they are doing, any help appreciated thanks.

Hi Eamon, I would be interested in finding this out too. Has anyone used Kreig Engine Reconditioning in Mt Barker? When I get around to freshening the 1600 I bought from you, I was hoping to give them a try. Cheers! Andrew

Hi Guy's, feel free to contact either me or my father Terry at Tyrepower St Agnes on (08) 82641777. My father did his apprenticeship at an RS dealership in the UK. He has built and maintained numerous engines for road and race. We have won multiple championships between us (dad in his Lotus Twincam sports sedan) (me in my YBTurbo Improved Production car). We are doing lots of stuff for Escorts, Cortinas and Capris at the moment including engine work, brakes and suspension. We use one Adelaide's top machine shops (TW Enginering) for all engine machining. We do the assembly our selves and we can offer engine dyno or rolling road dyno services through two reputable local businesses. Kind regards Scott

My new bottom end has been built by Chris Miltons in Medindie.  They have gone to great effort to get the right parts and their communication has been great.  Extremely happy so far although I get the bill and engine tomorrow so have not run the finished product yet.

Eamon, sorry I cant do any thing until after Targa Adelaide... I'm working 6.5 days a week at the present getting competition cars ready for Targa ! Still happy to help if you cant find any suitable help.
 
Glenn.. good luck with Targa and your new motor. Should work ok, the engine block is actually one of my premium blocks I had in stock. Also, a lot of guys with small Fords come up North, even though Holden Hill is only 15 mins north of the CBD. I dont reckon there are too many specialists in small Fords down South ie those who know what combinations work with what !  Cheers, Mike
