Thanks for the encouragement guys, I just hope my spray job on the front end holds the test of time. If not, a panel beater can do it.

Thanks, I hope it doesn't disappoint in the flesh. It's no show car, but it's a hell of alot better than it was.

I'm VERY interested in seeing how the charcoal rims look on the white RS
Thanks, and your wait is over, my rims came in today! Finally, woohoo! They didn't take as long as I expected. Enough talking, more pictures!
These are the 13 inch Cheviots being replaced. Some people like them, they don't do anything for me personally and are not in especially good condition paint-wise. They are physically ok though, they'll be track rims for the rally car (the third extra set that car has now).

And here they are! The replacements:

I was heaps excited about getting them on the car. The rear centre caps were a real pain the butt though. They took much convincing to go on, the centre cap of the rear stub kept pushing the centrecaps of the mags out. Had to make a few phone calls before brute force sorted it out.

And from the rear here. The car needs to be lowered an inch, I feel, though the car had just been sat down off the jacks so it will setlle back to what it normally is (still needs lowering though):

Front corner:

I apologise about this crappy pic. It was mega hard getting photos of the car when the sun was glaring in on the garage so harshly and I couldn't just roll the car out onto the driveway at the moment due to another project heh. I did want to include it to show how big the wheels look side on though.

I've also ordered some number plates for when rego time comes around:

Obviously RS2000 and RS200Q were taken so I got the next best thing I could find.

I'm pretty happy with the results, I feel the money was well spent. For anyone living in Newcastle, I went thru Ozzy Tyres (the ricer shop) for my wheels and they were fantastic. I'd recommend them anytime.
I apologise for the crappy garage photos, though, I'll get the car out in the sunshine and get some real photos as soon as I sort this Tacho out, which will hopefully be soon. Thanks for your advice on that too, guys.
Cheers, from one excited Timmeh!
