Oh wow!! how good does that look. Really looking forward to seeing this project come along. I'm a fan of the RB20, just didn't want to buy a Nissan to enjoy one lol. Good luck and keep up the pics.

Can I ask what it cost for the blasting and etch on the shell?

Ok, been surrounded by people with Escorts has made me pull my finger out and do a bit. So, ive got a steering column from a camry and put it in, altering the rack so it faces the right way for me and made up some steering components to make it work. So far it looks pretty good. While i had the engine out yet again, i managed to sort the pickup out as rb20 have a middle sump where the Escorts are at the front, so i had to make the pick up longer. I made a fuel tank too, so just have tomake the mounts and a little surge tank that will sit in the 1/4 gaurd. So will try and finish the sump and pickup this week. Then finish the steering rack and column. So once the sump and steering is finished , ill weld up the xm and put the engine back in, and then hopefully wont be long till i can start her.........

Sorry bout the pics, took on my phone and had the settings set from the night before.

Yeh im motovated now, so hopefully it can continue. Dont take notice for the steering setup, i need a new long rod as i cut it too short and has to be all welded and cleaned up yet. once i get it running ill be stoked. And to make things better i sorts know the engineer and he said when im ready he will look/pass it for me.

I was told i could put a 3.4 rover v8 in it, or whatever they are, so i went in and asked about it, they said no way 2ltr is max. And even with the rb20, i have to get a report saying it only makes 150 horsepower, well unless he askes for it. But if i want too, i could get it passed with the rb20, than put a rb25 or so in and keep the keep the numbers on etc as they are virtually identicle.

Well, still not a lot of things happening. Wheels are done, so just stuck them under for a looksie, fabbed up a bit of a tank, rack is done, sump/pickup is done and on, xm is done, redone steering column and got rid of my booster as i need steering more. Doing the diff at the moment, working out the column and then wiper mechanism. Dump pipe is done, turbo and lines are done, using a TDo5h, so had to make adaptor, plenum is done and ready to bolt down.....
