Any one got what they would call 'true' photos that represent the colour used on the Escorts, specifically after the orange on 1970 twin cams.

I want the focus electric orange but might stay original

after pictures to demonstrate the colours accurately if possible.
I got a tango mk2 aswell but the orange on the twincam looks quite pale compared to it.

Here is a pic of my Burnt orange (paint code Z) 1980 Mk2 (hmmm that link says its an rs2000 colour) Anyways...

Just after being washed and the sun is out


Hasnt been washed in awhile and its pretty overcast.


Dunno how the pics represent the true Burnt Orange colour off the gun. But thats what it would look like after it fades abit =P

Is the later mk1 orange the same as the early one?
This is my '74 mk1. Not sure of the codes for it, but its orange

according to the links those are both 'burnt orange', again according to the codes the colour is 'hot orange' code J for 1970.
