Been looking at the air hole ones on feeBay. What do you mean by "the real McCoy ones"?

Will be very keen to see how good your ones are mate. The panel must be a good fit and the holes must be swagged.

What state are you in Ulsterman? $250 + freight to Adelaide.

I mean a proper fitting panel with properly swagged holes like the works cars had. I have ordered one for my own car and a few spare ones. I dont do this as a business but happy to help out. Yes $250 + freight. I am in Qld.

do you have an approx date that they will arrive? I am starting to rebuild the front end of my car so need one very soon. I guess I can glue all the other panels in place then wait for this one to arrive but it gets hard to aligne things.

It's very simple to mark the hole centres out carefully with a tape measure, then drill 4mm, 8mm, 10.5mm and then use a hand-held hydraulic hole punch, set up with a 16mm dye. Punch all 5, then throw in the bigger shaft and punch them all at 50mm.

These punch sets are used by switchboard manufacturers, sheet metal fabricators etc

The holes wont be swaged but it's a much cheaper option

Hi, I am about to get some punch and swage dies for another job. Limited to 1, 1.5 and 2 inch holes thou. Am also in Adelaide so happy to lend them for the few holes. Simax engineering also has a hole swage and he may be prepared to swage the holes - will need to hole saw first tho. Ian
