Haha speed hump friendly? Thats gunna be near un-drivable, even at height it was with superlows in front, I remember the exhaust would scrape now and then on speed humps. Your in for some fun. Will you try getting front lower also?

Does look great though.

The height x-member is a pain in the butt.

fronts staying same height, i was just having a bit of a play around with the back seeing which height is practicle and looks good, clearly thats gonna scrape on tree leaves so might go just a bit higher, also i think the local police station wont feel same way when i say " but it looks good"

got my car back this morning, with the 350 holley finally perched on its manifold, i thought it would drown a standard motor, but this thing pulls like never before (mind you the 32/36 was outta wack) its cost me $500 all up for tuning and the carby itself, i highly recommend auto carburettor services to anyone wanting something done carby wise they do some real great work, now to focus on the head work

David,
Good to hear it came together in the end, glad you didn't give up on the idea. Any chance of coming for a spin in it sometime so I can see the difference?

installed crane fireball xr700 electronic ignition today, what a pain in the ass that was, but hopefully the end result is gonna be worth it, least now no more points

not much i can say about the electronic ignition to be honest, i mean mines pretty much a stocker so didn't notice a major difference rather than having no points, id say for the price its worth the conversion although if you are using the crane kit make sure you really understand the instructions , took me a while to work it all out before i actualy started, when puttin the shutter on the dizzy it will be really tight, but if you go slow enough and use a socket to push it down like they recommend it should be all sweet, hope that helps

thanks for the comments, its not as nice as i want it, but plenty of time for improvement, first reason i went with the tint was to cut down the heat gettin in the car because on a summers day you wood burn on the vinyll seats but if i was to do it on another car id do black rather then mirror finish, but everyone to there own, also for the holley i just bought a adaptor plate was alot easier to find and most likely cheaper, i know of another forum member using a offenhauser manifold the cars in the for sale section, hope that helps

would be a hell of a lot better with a cam and maybe a worked head, but comparing to my out of wack 32/36 its a vast improvement, i bought the hole setup and got it fitted tuned for well under the price i sold my twin sidedrafts for, good to hear about the mags glad uve found a set you like, im to picky this is my 3rd set so far
