Based on his other ads and feedback it looks like he has had a couple of capris and maybe built one good one from a collection of others.  Nice job, will be an interesting test of the current market.

This car looks really good & the price is very, very interesting!
I have not heard of this vehicle or ever seen it before so it is a little surprising as I thought I knew about most of the Capris on the Brisbane scene.

I recently stuck my car on ebay to test the market and gauge the reaction to factory auto and to be honest it was Luke warm.

I didnt see that one, what's it like and what was the market feedback?  I was once a manual only bloke but now older and mellower would prefer an auto.  Passed a jewel green one up for $8k a while ago because I need to finish mine first, regretting it now. Not looking to buy just curious.

I dont know where this one sits.  Not 100% correct for the purist and not modernised enough for those that want a custom car.  Putting it on gumtree might put some lower bidders off even trying so we might not see a market driven price.

That's odd.  For me I would rather be in the middle.  Too cheap means too much work to do and too expensive concerns me with was it done right, so middle is where you can see what needs doing but it's not too far gone.  2c.

if it gets anywhere near the 45K and the buyer would prefer a more exotic colour - contact me......

i really like it. If I was after another i would be keen. 20k is cheap for a fully restored capri like that (that yummy red interior) - even though they obviously don't make much more. The only thing i'd change - take the bonnet off and paint it right! God, why do people do the black out in any configuration other than standard. Ford Aust hit it right on the money with their interpretation of what a GT capri should look like...

Hell for 45k I would even paint it to any colour you like! And the gloss blackouts look horridly wrong IMHO
