After owning my escort since i got my licence, am now considering selling my escort as i don't have time or money to do what i want with it.
The body is in need of some TLC but isnt in too bad condition.
Can runs and is still registered. Has 2.0L pinto engine and 4-speed manual gearbox, engine was reconditioned 4-5 years ago and never used until i bought and installed it in 2009. I also replaced the steering rack and all shocks around the same time as the engine.
In 07/08 me and my dad sanded back car and re-sprayed in gunmetal grey. as was only done quickly rust was sanded down and put anti-rust / rust-kill and then putty over and painted. Some rust is coming back (shown in the photos of where prominent).
Issues with car at the moment other than rust is that the reverse light switch has broken off the gearbox so doesn't work, and for an unknown reason brake lights dont work (have replaced the broken brake pedal switch which worked for a week and now they no longer work again).
Car also comes with 2 engines blocks, one with a big end knock sound (reason i replaced it) and the other is unknown condition as it came with the car when i bought it. also comes with a second rear axle with welded diff which i replaced with a standard shortly after buying the car as well as a milk crate of stuff which also came with the car.
i am looking for $2500, but as i am not 100% on selling it i dont want to negotiate price too much.
