G'day everyone, just wondering about compressors here as i am getting ready to paint my escort. i seen on the idiot box that super crap has a 20% sale on tomorrow, and that they have a 2.5HP compressor with free air delivery of 210L per min. would this be capable of painting the escort??

you can do it with a compressor that small, i have done it before, just make sure you do it with a low pressure gun, and do it 1 panel at a time, as the compressor wont be able to keep up with the air. the bigger the tank the better.
also make sure you have a water trap towards the end of the line as having at the beginning wont work. the air coming from the compressor is hot when its working that hard, and the water gets through the trap.
