Ship it in a container - no messing around with cleaning and clearance bull**** or people looking to empty your wallet.
I move cars in and out of oz weekly this way with no headache and it works out cheaper .

I've always shipped them in 20ft containers but doesn't matter here
They take them out at Melbourne and the bills start coming - steam cleaning etc etc

Lesson is prepare them before they're landed here

Interesting .
My containers in NSW always remained sealed.
They turn up and I cut the lock off the doors and deal with the contents.
Strange rules there in VIC

Do u bring in cars?
They usually take them out and check them against the paperwork ( if it doesn't tally they crush them and make u pay)

True Blue and Blue Ice are both listed as being 1970 Capri colours, so Jamie may well be right!

Yes my favourite colour!

I can't imagine the gestapo treatment stops at the border - if it happens I'll just make sure everything is ticked off

Does it matter.  Without a compliance plate wouldn't it just be a parts car anyway?
