Yes this was the motor I bought off you JR. It had badly made 5mm alloy plate for spacers.
The yells terra work with alloy cast ones mine are from South Africa.

Sorta high jacking this thread re: Jr cast covers.  Can't understand why the cover for the Pinto are $100 dollars more than a pair of V6 ones and the Crossflow one, also have read that some after market ones don't seal well and are prone to oil leaks.

Double gasket might fix it. I just found the only way to fix them was with screws or Allen Key bolts. Not much room so hex bolts went in the bin. Maybe their a thicker cast or the cost of the sale is more than they are to really produce. Not often anything V6 is cheaper.

I have used two gaskets on my rocker covers to fix this problem, funny thing is only the left hand cover was fouling. Must be a slightly different shape with more clearance on the right. Mark

The rocker covers from JRCast are worthless. I made up spacer plates to accommodate the roller rockers

Is It stupid to say that the cam lift is the determining factor. The valve fully open due to cam will vary on setup. Some might foul and some may not.

Agree.
On mine its not the rocker itself that fouled, but the adjusting nut which sticks up about 10mm.
With 2 gaskets it fitted but with no clearance.
Burton covers solved it and add some bling.
Cam lift will determine how high the nut sits.

I've seen some people grind a corner off a rocker on each bank to clear the covers, but I'm not sure how recommended this is. One of my cars has this, but I've not had this particular engine running. The picture shows what I'm talking about. Obviously, the rockers are currently in random positions, but from memory the modified rockers go furthest forward on the left bank, and furthest back on the right bank (drivers side).
