Welcome to the forum. You may find getting a 2 door a bit hard, as they're very popular with the rally boys Lol. If not there is a reasonable looking 4 door on Gumtree for 4.5K in Bris /gold coast area. Good luck with your search.

thanks for the advice for a new member guys.
have been looking for the right one for a few years now so am aware of prices, have looked at ones from $5k to $40k got a bit sidetracked collecting other cars I used to own/couldn't afford when I was a kid.
its not the price its finding the right car that's been looked after and the owner wants it to go to a good home and kept original,to make it harder i'm equally happy for a mk1 or mk2,
cant get past the escort bug
