Ok after attacking the bowl i was very suprised with my results(also see spot weld removal tool thread in tips and tricks section)(http://classic-ford.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6519) and as you can see i have very little rust, we are going to cut the centre tube out along with a 15mm edge and remake just the tube and 15mm extra lip and all rust will be solved, only those very minor marks under where it was welded but it will clean up and we have to add a new flat surface to that anyway for the new seal.

so as you can see im lucky to have very little rust for it age, once i make the new tube and outer ring it will come up quite nice, then i have to repair the dome and make to bolt on the same a Daunes.

Next project are the bolt on, bolt off guards, yer im ripping them off and bolting them back on as well, how hard can it be not very from the looks! Plus it gives me the excuse to fit new panels

Jet-6 are you going to put your deep dished rims on it?

I knew there was a reason I wanted that shell......

There 13x7's with all dish out, track will be wide but sweet as!

the look like at least 13x8's! what tyres gona wear? 205's?

There genuine FORD and stamped 13x7, so i assume thay are, lol, maybe there wrong cause they do look bigger now i look again.

Unsure of rubber, that the last thing on my mind atm, the first thing on my mind is getting these bumperette iron made up!

nah, i'm sure they are, just with all the dish the have a big look.
