If they're both English axles then it will go in - no such thing as a 1600 and 2 litre diff, just different ratios. Just double check the size of the prop shaft mounting flange as I've been caught out by that before... [V]

... I caved. The LSD is back under it. Just gotta get the driveshaft cut down, and it should all be fixed.

Oh, working brakes might help too, I'll worry about that later. [:I]

Truck's coming in a few hours to pick it up and take it to another mechanic (new one this time, hopefully better results). Should be ready for SFS, as long as there's no major problems.

Anyway, here's how it was sitting today with the 14s on the back while the Simmons get repaired, I think it's a tad too low. [:o)]

Also gave the boot a quick retrim. The grey was getting a bit worn out, so redid it with black vinyl. Looks a bit better, still not happy with it though so I'll probably redo it after SFS.

Sorry, *attempt* to roll it onto the trailer, it was too low so I had to call the truck.

Take a used tailshaft to the mechanic and remove the front yoke.
Just slip it in for next time[(#)]

Well, just picked it up and it's all driveable. Gearbox is making a really weird noise though, no idea what that is. Will have to get it checked out soon. Either way, looks like I'll be getting towed to SFS. [}:)]
