Remarkable![^] The Poms are the known kings of rust repair but Ive never seen them do this. Then again where would they find a spare floor and bulkhead that wasn't already very rusty?

Hello Jim. I've got one in two pack undercoat at the moment, waiting for the humidity levels to drop. Hoping to get it on the road before the end of the year. I too am going back to the original colour. I don't understand owners who painted these cars red. No progress on the GT1600 but that may get a kick along soon. I've got all the new panels. When you sent me those photos some time ago I just could not have imagined how good your car would be. I'd love to visit one day and see it in the flesh.

Hello Jaycees,

How about some more piccies!
More detail please!
The before and after photos don't show the amount of pain and suffering you went through to complete the job!

Congratultions !

lol dude, i cant believe u removed the floor! ive never seen that done before. but i guess that shows just how thorough your build was.

love the colour, love the flawless engine bay, but do you mind me asking, what is that round part, that is in the bottom right corner, and has a pipe going to otherside of the engine bay?

and what is the container thing to the drivers side of the heater bubble that is also shown in the third picture?

What an amazing rebuild, as someone said i've never seen the floor/baulk head removed like that before, but the end result more than makes up for all the hard work thats been done. I see from a post that someone has a "twink" up in the tropics, very much like to meet them, up here it's seems to be if it's not a v8 your a nobody!!

Hi Mark. The reference to the tropics is Darwin. I had three at one stage but ended cutting one up. If I'd known there were the likes of Jim about I'd still have three. Panel beaters up here aren't interested in the hard stuff.

which may be of interest to the fellow members who wanted to see

more,
