Hi, wondering what a brand new set of leads would have for resistance? Bought some and wondering if they are actually good

Depends on the lead -
garden variety leads run in around 16,000ohm per metre,
average leads run in around 10,000ohm per metre, and
'high performance' leads around 2,500ohm per metre

Depends on your application, but in my experience most Escorts running low energy ignition systems respond well to the lower resistance leads
