im in Sydney, the wait doesnt bother me, still a while till the car is finished.
how are they for comfort? $700 sounds reasonable,is that landed here? i was going to get my mx5 seats covered in vinyl to match the rest but this could be a better option. what's the vinyl covering like? is it a good match for the mk1 escort?

well im from wollongong and i got them from steves speed shop/revelution race gear and yeah 700 landed here... i dont know much about the rmk1 interior but u can get them in all colour and differnt material i think.. but yeah real nice and cumfy.. when i get them retrimmed i think i might get them to add more padding to the upper shoulder part so when i got her in sharp corners i dont role around as much.. but reall nice..

Hey whoppa it may not be a problem but it may be a problem i don't know but if your car was originaly fitted with seats that had headrests or a high back that your head would rest back on from factory then there is a law your car must have seats in it in that manner where your new buckets don't due to whiplash in a crash they say,i surpose you could try and get away with it but i got caught out twice in this situation but maybe you should go threw a enginear anyway,a mk1 would be fine as they were bucket seats anyway.But they are sexy little seats hey,i had a pair in a mk1 VW golf i used to hillclimb.

oh yeah crap lol nevery thought about that.. well yesterday i got pulled over in her and i dindt have a liscence on me and i got drug searched and everything haha and they ddint say nothin about the seats but they cryed on about everything else..

hey whoppa do you mind me asking waht caused the pigs to search you and the car?
(ie hooning? driving fast over the limit or under? etc)

if you cant get it passed at an engineers then im more than happy to take them off your hands so let me know how you get on
