Dealers used to order the cars in delete form then add the stripes, bonnet blackouts etc, themselves. That way they made a few extra dollars. That will explain why your car had them yet the build sheet says it didn't. Dales used to swap cars between themselves if a customer wanted a specific colour or drivetrain combination, that may explain why it was delivered to one dealer but sold by another. The paint and trim errors were most likely the person at ford looking at a falcon list from the same year.

Hi,
I had the same issue with ford, she was reading out the letter over the phone before she sent it to me and i had to correct her regarding the diamond white code.
Mine is also a delete option although mine didnt have the side stripes aswell as no bonnet blackout.
Wonder if mine had super roo stickers since i didnt have the super roo delete option.

As others have mentioned,  not sure how reliable these ford letters really are.
Cheers

I had to have a bit of a laugh at the gearbox option though, "4 speed close ratio gearbox". Obviously nobody from Ford had ever driven a manual V6 and changed from 2nd to 3rd! Close ratio???
