Ive been advised that i should use a grvity fed gun for 2 pac paint , I have a stan brand heavy pressure gun, would it be suitable for 2 pac or do i need to fork out for a new gravity gun? I also have a decent gun ive used for acrylic in the past its not heavy like the stan, i think it has finer nozzle..
Any advice on painting 2pac is appreciated..

I use a gravity fed gun from autobarn was like 180 or somthing it works good using a 1.4mm nozzle
Get a mixing cup and a strainer talk to the paint shop on mixing it its easy with a proper cup got the markings etc

I normally leave 2k primer over night n work it the next day but with paint once its painted jus leave it sit for a good 4 days jus to make sure its fully set even if u bake it in a booth i wouldnt touch it for a couple of days after jus to properly cure... Better to be safe then sorry i found out the hard way :(

HVLP (gravity fed) gun, around $79 from Supercheap has been working well for me. Also 1.4mm nozzle. Regulate pressure from compressor down to 40psi, then you can lower the pressure on the handle down a bit further. I use Lesonal brand paint, which is a 2 part paint, 1 part hardener and 10% reducer mix. You can apply really thick coats without fear of runs (unless of course you had 1 too many beers when prepping the car!),

 
We used a high pressure gun for our first spray job in two pak and found out the hard way.
The high pressure causes a  mist like fog to fill up the shed and thats bad for breathing, and it settles down on everything
making it all coloured and sticky. 
No such problems with the low pressure gun.
