Looked every where,
Has any one ot the part numbers for the Koni (Yellows?) froont & rear for a Mark II 2L

Also is the RX7 strut worth considering? (for the front I assume)

Thanks for any help,

I have koni yellow (S4?) rx7 inserts in my capri struts in the RS. They are quite a bit shorter and i have shortened the strut by 50mm as my car is VERY low, but this does not have to be done. The strut top will need modifying to suit the different size shaft. There is a single bolt that is goes thru the bottom/base of the strut tube and into a threded boss on the botom of the shock to hold it in place. I dont know the part number off the top of my head but i think i have posted it in my project thred somewhere[B)].
They seem to work very well with the limited testing I have done with it.
If you have a bit of money to spend, ring toperformance and get a price on their koni double adjustable strut inserts. I think they were about $800 for a pair for memory.

Never understood why you would stuff around with RX7 inserts when the Capri 86-1835's just drop into the 2L strut and only require a spacer in the bottom of the strut tube?

Are they externally adjustable or something?

The RX7 version allows a much lower stance due to it being that much shorter plus is valved to suit 300 pound springs out of the box. Also costs less and is more readily available in my experience

I don't know what's going on, I rang up top performance, the guy said that the front one (86 1835SPORT) weren't top adjustable :S I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding or not, but he said there's no way I could get dual adjustables :S

Fairly sure the RX7 part # is 8641-1200Sport.

Rang up again today and spoke to a different guy, He said they can get a generic double adjustable, that should fit into the strut for $630 but if I want them he would want me to bring down my struts to double check everything.

sounds good :)
