Unfortunately i have lost a few pictures of the early stages of my coilovers. Anyhow heres the final items.

Capri struts were chosen to be converted to coilovers and a coilover kit was purchased from Simon Piper. These were then welded, gusseted and painted, awaiting a brake setup.

After much debate i decided to go with the hoppers stoppers brake kit. This kit (to suit capri sturts) comes with 300mm rotors and pbr twin piston alloy calipers. The main reason this kit was chosen was engineers tend to know and trust the name, and hopefully will allow me to engineer it with a little less hassle.

Some el/ef falcon interceptors to roll around on for a while....

Project looks very nice :) and them brakes and struts look tops. Does anyone know if the big brake kit from hoppers stoppers would fit a capri strut, is there much difference?

no pics as yet of filler neck plumbing. I think you would be better off just grabing a mk2 pan van tank from a wrecker.
Milan i am using capri struts, the kit is different from the escort one, as capri has larger hubs/bearings. With capri struts you have the option of either 290 or 300mm rotors, with a -5mm offset decrease if going up to 300mm.

Finally here are some pics of the car a few weeks after it came back from the panel shop (almost a year ago now). Bodywork was terrible, panel shop didn't have time to fix what i was unhappy with, and i didn't want to pay for that reason. We reached an agreement, i got the car back and i payed them for some panel work and the cost of the 2pack paint. The panel shop was doing this car on the side and in my opinion rushed it. I take this as a lesson well learen't and wont make the same mistake again - get what you pay for.

I took this as an oportunity to improve certain aspects of the car that i hadnt done the first time round. Top of the list was to re-do the rear flares and tubs.

Heres how it looked, after fitting door trims. Unfortunately i never took any photos of the ugly bits (dents in a few panels etc)
