Is my '69 Capri ID plate in the correct position on the slam panel or should it be on the inner guard?

Should be inner drivers side wing.

Thanks Wiggy, I thought had a feeling that may be the case. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the correct location by any chance would you?

Happy to help. You can maybe notice the slam panel on an early 69 Capri is different from every other year. It does not cover the bonnet stops like 70’s and beyond.
