old capri v6
Haven't tried the door rubbers, but I did have a front and rear screen rubber. Front was fine but I lucked out on the rear, just couldn't get the bottom corners to seat nicely when fitted (almost like the angle wasn't correct). Too be fair the new rubbers sat around for ages before fitting and it was the middle of winter on a cold day. Bought a new one from Brian at classic small ford spares in sydney, fitted heaps better. Maybe I just got a bad one,  I have bought heaps of capri bits off new old car company and "everything else has been great"

Another option is Scott's Old Auto Rubber down here in Melbourne at:

I used a RARE SPARES complete Rubber kit, not cheap but all fitted perfectly no issues with it.

Scott's old auto rubber kit went into my RS, good quality and fitted pretty good.

Clicking on the Scotts links redirects to the rare spares site so looks like the same kit.

Was interested to see that as well GTV6, I purchased the boot seal using the part number you recommended and it fitted perfectly and will probably use your recommended door seal number also, just thought the molded seal would be nice if it fitted well.

I won't buy a full kit at the moment as I only need seals for checking on the swinging panels and don't want a full kit sitting around for who knows how long.

Thanks for the input guys.

I just got the door seals from Phils Old Rotary, moulded corners and only 55 each, fitted well and not too fat - like the Clark Rubber ones that you buy by the metre

gtv6capri, did you have to cut a section out of the Phils Rotary door seals or were they the correct length for the Capri?

I received mine today and they would require cutting to fit as you can see in the photo.

Yes the seals are too long, you need to cut a piece out, I did this on the section between the hinges.  The seal is most likely Falcon.  No one does a 1 piece capri specific seal.  The moulded corner type are much better.  Got the Phils Rotary ones the other day and fitted them to the green MK2, went in a treat.  I have had trouble with Clark Rubber continuous length seals being too fat
