makin good progress!!

mark i wanted to ask you about the celica box. what diff are you running?

i have a hilux diff and custom tail shaft that bolts up to the standard Escort box / sierra 5 speed. i can't fit the tailshaft yet as i dont have a celica yoke to go on the tailshaft plus i think the tailshaft will need to be shortened by about 60mm. what issues have you had with tailshafts and how did you overcome them?

thanks

Borg Warner shortened to standard Escort width with discs, 4.11:1 limo.
I had the tailshft shortened, yoke welded and then shaft balanced. No worries.

Looking great mark...[:u]
Are you using the old radiator or are you organising a polished pwr job?? and intercooler??
plenty of room in the front of the rs2000 nose cone. and no one will see it (especially the police)

what colour are you going witht he other valve cover?? the blue looks nice... are you going chrome or red??

you will have some lag with that turbo.. what sort of power are you going for? or are you just going standardish type tuning first?

traction will be an issue for sure! not that thats a bad thing!!!

Polished rad/cooler and cover. Keeping the engine tame for the first run.

I have been doing a lot of buying and much less actual progress.
I have modified my flywheel to suit a custom arrangement utilising the original Cosworth clutch uprated with 1230kg clamping along with a pinto ring gear.

However, very soon all of this purchasing will make a running car.

I have been fitting a roll cage on top of my original plans and that has slowed progress.

New job and girlfriends are handbrakes too.

I will update with photos as soon as practically possible.
