Hi all,
     can anyone tell me what badges the MK2 RS2000 came with. Im pretty sure the right side of the boot had a ford blue oval but Im not sure what was on the left. Was it " ESCORT 2.0"  or just 'ESCORT" ?. Also were the badges chrome or black. If they were black are these just the silver/chrome badges painted or were they a black plastic moulding?  Also, how do you remove badges on the bootlid, they appear to be like a rivett or similar and no doubt there is a technique for getting them off

Just a black escort badge on the left and a blue oval on the right.  They were the same badge as a post 78 MK2 but were not chromed. You could sand blast a chrome one and paint it black i suppose
 
To remove them you carefully push a screw driver under the badge and flick them out. They come pretty easily

cool thanks. Im a bit dissapointed , I really like the big 2.0 badge on it as well, and I guess I could put it on but Im trying to keep the car reasonably original
